    Question about CQBSS for Scar-H

Thinking about a CQBSS for my SCAR HEAVY. Anyone else think it's a perfect fit? Does anyone know if prices will be coming down anytime soon? There is one on gunbroker that looks like it might sell for $2750, has anyone seen them elsewhere cheaper? Thanks for your time!

A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.

    Welcome to FNF.

For that kind of cash, you could actually buy (2) very good scopes, and (2) QD mounts.

Zero both optics and IF you need to go to more power just swap out the lower powered glass. I think in that scenario it wouldn't take but 30 seconds to accomplish the task.

Maybe Clyde will post a picture of a rifle with BOTH scopes mounted assuming he has enough rail length

Thanks Sarge. I definitely hear you. I don't want to spend all that money but I really would like a nice 1-8x. This is going to mainly be a deer/hog/range gun. 1-8x seems perfect.

I don't own any optics any more.

I decided to trade them all in on some pygmy goats, some chickens, some rabbits, and enough wood to build me some raised beds vegetable gardens. And grow bio-algae.

And I got Big Woogie a hot sexy fox red labrador girlfriend as a kicker on the trades. Ooh La La...he is so happy and tuckered out now I only regret not doing this sooner....

I don't know If you've seen this but Leupold announced a less expensive version at Shot Show, the Mark 6. Can’t touch the Mark8 CQBSS? Check out the Leupold Mark 6 1-6x | Military Times GearScout. I've heard the price is going to be between $1500 and $2000. Puts it in the same price point as the SpecterDr. The attached link has a video and short write up.

on my 3-Gun rifle I run A burris TAC 30 LRS 1x4, the big red circle on 1 power acts like a red dot for fast target accusation running both eyes open

I did use a Leatherwood CRM 1x4 scope for a time and It worked great

even though only 4 power I had no issues wining the Tactical rifle division 3 times shooting steel out 400 yards
