A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
I have been surfing the sites and there seems to be some decent buys on it but I need to know if it GTG before purchasing it. plus we should share with others the deals. I have a feeling ammo will go up soon

Coldair,
In my experience with Privi, It has been overall pretty good. The biggest thing that I noticed is there is some inconsistency between lots with the Match line. Some lots shoot better than others but the lesser performing lots are still not that bad. I'm talking about maybe a 1/2 MOA accuracy change from a good to not so good lot.
I've put Winchester .308 150gr (lead nose), PMC .308 147gr, and Federal 149gr (M80) through mine with varying degrees of accuracy. The Federal was by far the best, while the worst was the PMC (both PMC and Winchester were both much worse than the Federal. I was getting a hair under 2MOA with the M80, the others were closer to 3MOA. All 3 types ran reliably.

I use Prvi 168 match almost exclusively. I look for deals on the 500 rnd cases and I think it's a good value.
SMA308SB SANTA BARBARA MFG 308 147GR FMJ $88/200 OR $430 / 1000
SANTA BARBARA MFG 308 147GR FMJ AMMUNITIONCOPPER JACKETED, LEAD CORE, BRASS CASE,BERDAN PRIMED,NON-CORROSIVE, LATE 70'S MFGSuper nice ammunition. Copper jacketed, lead core FMJ bullet. This ammo will shoot well in any M1A. Santa Barbara (Spanish) has made high quality military ammunition for a long time. Currently, they are a vital part of the "second source" project for the US military for small arms ammunition. When you look at this ammo, it is bright, shiny,.
any comments on this?

IMO, since it's berdan primed, reloading the brass won't be worth it, so being 35 years old it's not worth the savings versus current-manufacture PRVI PPUM80 for 94/200 or 460/1000.
Caveat: I have not actually shot the SB, just doesn't seem like a smoking deal to me since the current bulk PRVI stuff shoots well for me.
How good is PMC .308 147 grain? Would it be worth $10 a box if I could buy it for that?
Federal Fusion 150gr is the most accurate factory load i have found for my scar. Groups better than my hand loads,Federal prem, FGMM. It puzzles me that a bullet seated a 1/4" off the lands shoots best.
