FWIW I weighed the pull. The first stage is about 2lbs 4oz, and total pull is about 3lbs 12oz. Those are an average of readings with a Lyman digital trigger scale.........dj

I am a newbie here so I hope you all don't mind me chiming in. I ordered one on the 1st (it was back ordered of course) but mine still shows on back order in my Midway account?? Maybe those that signed up for stock notification have a certain priority in the pecking order? dj if you don't mind me asking do you recall how long ago you signed up for stock notification....just curious.
Milspec, IIRC the notice I got was from several months ago, I talked to Geissele direct and they told me to check with Midway............................dj

Ahh well, I guess I'll just have to wait my turn..![]()
Ordered from Midway 2-2-12 received 2-6-12
Never argue with stupid people. It brings you down to their level, then they beat you with experience!
Lucky me! I just contacted Midway today and it looks like they did fill my trigger "pre order". It's just waiting to ship because the Magpul selector/safety isn't in stock yet. I guess that my timing was spot on after all. Still a lot of coin for a trigger.....hope it's worth it.

100% AGREE!!! I ordered one for my SCAR 17 (about 4 months ago) and loved, loved, loved it! After shooting the 17, I immediately tried to buy another one for my SCAR 16 ... but everyone was out of stock.I had to wait about 6 weeks for the second one. Finally got it ... and now my world is good.
Really can't imagine the SCAR without this trigger.
I just had a question pop in my mind. What happens if a freak thing happens. For example, your Geisselle hammer breaks or cracks after some time. Is your $400.00 trigger now metal scraps? Or will they be able to send you a "tuned" replacement hammer? I'm sure you just couldn't drop in a stock Scar hammer. Do these triggers carry any warranty?
Copied this statement from his instruction page:
"Request:
The Super SCAR trigger is a new product for Geissele Automatics. It has been tested in four different weapons and I am confident that it will meet your highest expectations. However, whenever any new product is put in service, unanticipated problems or concerns may arise. Be assured that this trigger is covered under the Geissele lifetime warrantee which means that as long as I am above ground, I will take care of you. I would greatly appreciate an email once you have had an opportunity to shoot your new trigger. Just drop me a few words on how the trigger is working for you, and if there is anything you might recommend changing.
Respectfully,
Bill Geissele"
I didn't even know this was written on the instruction sheet until you asked the question, Milspec; but I tell you this: my email just went out. This statement is a no BS insight into how he does business.
