Range Ammo

I am sure this has been covered but what is the cheapest, cleanest ammo in 7.62X51? I am just looking for something to throw down range onto paper, nothing crazy.

The Radway Green shoots decent and is pretty clean. A good overall round and has a reasonable price point.
It is berdan primed though. So don't cry when a stray case gets mixed into your regular brass, is none too frendly to your decap and / or sizing die!

+1 to what Sweet17 said. The RG stuff is good. I bought a crate of this, along with some Malaysian 147gr surplus. I just fired about 80 rounds of it yesterday and was pretty impressed with how clean and accurate it was! It was around $0.50/round -shipping included.

I am just finishing up a 750 round case of Radway Green, clean, reasonably accurate. I had the opportunity to go to a range and do a 200yard zero, kept a ten round group in the X ring, for the money it's hard to beat RG.

I also finished a can of Malaysian a couple weeks ago and it is as clean as the RD, my 17 prefers the Malaysian as far as accuracy goes.

NOTE: I am looking for a Beta type speed loader if anyone happens to have the link handy, I would like the stripper clips on the RD better if I had a speed loader.

Go with either round and you will not be disappointed.
