In short No, but it is becoming the rifle of choice for SOCOM, at least the Heavy, many others are still using the HK416 in 5.56, the Scar Heavy though is on the rise.
The M110, M21 are in full use for DMR use but as soon as the Scar L comes out in full swing I see it taking over in that Market, I carried the M21 for years but to this day I hate the scope mounting system on it even with the advent of the Troy battle stock, which helps but adds much un needed weight, The M110 has over heating issues in AFGAN.

Kilo Knight,
Can I ask to speak to you offline regarding a question. I can be contacted at ski0081@comcast.net or sziminski@haverhillpolice.com Thank you for your time sir. Officer Scott A. Ziminski, Haverhill, MA. Police Department
There is a box on the form 1 where it asks for all the markings, so you may have to include both.
The way Sarge explained it is the way I've always heard the US SCAR origin explained, but it may not be written in that detail on the receiver. I haven't looked at SCAR receivers closely enough to remember.
Either way, I think it is fixable. Don't stress about it.
