SCAR Military Orders are up

Was told by the little birdie (sorry if this is a repost) - Military orders of the 17 apparently went through the roof - FDE and Black as well. FNH is backordered for the Mil. program - hence they will not have any for civvie sales for a while. New production is all 100% Mil. consumption for the next 3-6 months. Civvie dealer program will not get any new inventory for a while.

Also - there are no offcial plans to stop the production for the FNP-45 tactical - as it would appear that is THE fastest selling item FNH currently produces.

Anyone having any more concrete info - chime in.

Wow, well I guess I am glad I picked mine up last May. Granted I paid quite a bit more than most people and more than I wanted to but I was lucky enough to find one at a local shop waiting to be snatched up. Eight months later, that premium I paid has been long forgotten.

Good thing I got myself a Black 17s for Christmas. I had to sell a rifle and a lower along with some gear but I'm glad I did it.

Glad I got one when I did.

Picked up a FDE 17S last December. No regrets at all. The dealer also threw in a extra mag.

The performance of the 16S was what lead me to the 17S.

It's been awhile since we had some good news, I hope this is confirmed soon.

However, that does mean the people waiting for mags are out of luck. Glass half-full version... at least it means there's more of a window to convince the third parties to invest in making magazines to fill the demand.

Same here G. Whew!!!! Picked up "Blackie 17" on Dec. 1 and "Sweet 16" a week later. Man, I'm glad I got um. Even have 7 mags for "Blackie".

I see at least two black 17s per gun show in Houston TX. Never any mags, <surprise> and they run close to or under 3K.

Your guess is a s good as mine. The lot FNH marked for their 'web-store' may make it, or it may be diverted. I would not be surprised if it is diverted.
Civvie gun sales pay the bills - Military gun sales make the bank.

I'm sure we will all have mags before zombie apocolypse or end of this decade, whichever comes first.
