I am not envolved in this offer in any way, I do not know of anyone involved in any way: I just found it. "Proceed at own risk" - "Buyer Beware" - and all that....

Appreciate the heads up. I'll take a chance.![]()
This might be a stupid question since I don't have my Scar 17 yet, but shouldn't these mags have a hole for the mag catch? I didn't see one on the pics from the gunbroker ad.
Thanks
Just a heads up, these are NOT factory mags...I have email confirmation
I got off the phone with them and they said the mags are from brownells and they have not test them since they do not have a scar 17 in stock. As hookie2000 mention about the hole for the mag catch, they confirmed the mags do not have the holes for the catch..In my opinion these might be modify fal mags?
Some details would be nice - please fill in the gaps in your post with any other detail. Thank you.
It says "bulk factory" and mags are "overstock from FN" and "Mags are covered by FN factory warranty."
Silversage, tell us what you know! Do not make us waterboard you!
Silversage, you responded while I was posting this message...rest easy, we put the waterboard away - thanks!

So are they willfully or ignorantly misrepresenting this item when they say...
"Bulk Factory SCAR 17 20rd Mags These Mags are only availiable to FN authorized dealers. Mags are overstock from FN, but are tested and guaranteed to work. Mags are covered by FN factory warranty."
I see no way they will work without duct tape or bunjie cords.
The "hole", as it is being referred to in the thread, for the magazine catch, is located on the left side of the magazine. He pictures the right side only in the GB ad. Also, they have the D&H Industries cage code. These are more than likely early production magazines that had issues with QC and they were bought up at a bargain price.
Caveat emptor, Gents.
