It's only 102 over here. Maybe I'll go for a run.
Contrary to popular belief, I know exactly what I'm doing.

Was it the ammo or the neglect from cleaning after firing the ammo?
(I think you know the answer and the difference)

My Mosin's and several others are / were proof of concept that properly maintained weapons last a LONG time.

I tried it and don't like it!
If its 110F and low humidity you will never hear me complain.
    100% humidity is brutal......!

Thanks for the input everyone. The more I thought about it throughout the day, I came to realize the level of disassembly and cleaning that I would have to endure in order to be sure the corrosive compounds are completely scrubbed from pretty much any and all components of the rifle. It's kind of a bummer because I was stoked about the "good deal" I was getting, but I should have known better. Well, time to start stocking up on some PMC Bronze (seeing as how that's about the cheapest/lowest quality ammo I'm willing to run through my gun now). Thanks again to everyone who chimed in, it's good to get such prompt input.

Its always a good idea to go with what your gut tells you (whether it be loosing a few bucks on some ammo for piece of mind or get to the bathroom now after drinking a 12er of Busch).

Now that the main topic has been resolved, we can get back to the important stuff....Sarge and Tal's unfolding wardrobe and hair dew debate

Oh and Sarge, its 63 above but I did see a few snowflakes two days ago
