Why the Scar 17S is so great

when you are out to 700-800 with an 8 power, what does the target look like? i feel like it would be very hard to see, but i have no experience out to that distance.

The scar 17 is a beast... You will love it when you get one. My favorite rifle I own.

Keep your spirits up and most importantly be patient, wait for the overwhelming surge of demand to take a southern turn then pull the trigger. A rifle that can turn cover into concealment while maintaining a clean bolt carrier at the same time, simultaneously keeping decent weight on the carrier and quick follow up shots due to moderate recoil. She is the girl next door worth waiting for.

Well think about it man. If it's 8x then at 800 yds with magnification it'll appear approx. what something looks like to you at 100 yrds without magnification.
