FNH Scaling back on high capacity magazines

I heard from someone today with a contact at FN that they are self imposing limitations on the amount of high capacity magazines they will produce. Possible even going so far as to stop production.

It sounds like they are assuming the magazine ban will become law and don't want to be stuck with inventory.

Stock up now because it may be a long time before you can buy them again

    What redman said!!
Don't make me mad then tell me to calm down. That is like shooting someone and then telling them not to bleed.

Everybody has heard something from somebody, the fact is not even the reps know or might have old info.

Speculating is not doing the buyer market any favors.

Even if they did pass a mag ban, if it's worded like the last time anything produced prior to the ban being passed would be exempt. Seems like they would be making them as fast as they can just in case.

All I know is every retailer seems to be getting them now. Every day it seems there is a batch out there somewhere. I doubt they will stop production. dms you wouldn't be one of the folks trying to sell them still for $200 on gunbroker would you?

Not sure guys. Like I said I heard it through someone else and not directly myself. Just wanted to pass it on.

Let's hope it's wrong and they are producing them as fast as they can.

I have no ulterior motives. Like I said, just trying to relay what I heard.
