    FN Scar Upper Color questions..

I've come across other posts saying that the color is different in every Scar. I was just wondering if my Scar upper is consistent or if it's uncommon. It's very golden and non greenish or bronze. If it is common are they still being colored that shade in newer productions. What are the chances of me getting the same color if I had to sell it for financial issues? You think 17s are going to become more expensive? Or cheaper next year? Thanks a lot guys!

The color is different in every batch of FDE SCARS
Any from that batch will be the same
Same as any other anodized FDE accessories
How many are finished in each batch I don't know

What, non-electronic items, have become cheaper in the last 20 years? With that said, waiting for a presidential election cycle to purchase anything firearms related is rarely met with lower prices - greatly exacerbated when a Clinton is involved.

My 16S and 17S are the same shade of FDE as far as I can tell. No bronze or green shading. But I have seen may different colors on various SCAR's.

If we could get the Harlequin Scar Registry going you would have your answer...

    FDE Scar Harlequin Registry?

Personally I would pay extra for Olive Drab, but we all know what opinions are like...

Welcome to the forum. I prefer the more gold FDE version over the green FDE version but it's just my opinion. Last year or so everyone was clambering over the more green version. Variety of color is good for all SCAR owners and wanna be owners! Enjoy.
