Now if it were chambered for 300 BLK vice 5.56. Not a dig at 5.56, I'm a believer in it. But with a barrel that short, you'll lose quite a bit of MV with 5.56 and gain A LOT of noise and flash. 300 BLK, on the other hand, excels in short barrels since it reaches powder burnout at 8 inches or so. And if you use 220 gr subsonic ammo, you get something akin to .45 ACP performance (A big chunk of metal humming along at just under the speed of sound) at the short ranges a PDW is designed for.
