hahaha well after spending $2k I can't really get "cheap" now haha. I just want something that is high quality and functional. Anyone check CAA's bipods out? They have the same measurements as the harris compact.

If I recall, isn't there an issue of some sort with CAA as an entity?

Financial issues may cause their demise ... at least that's the rumor floating around the industry?

I love the BOBRO Gen III but it's a rare item these days. The GG&G bipod would be my next choice jmoney.

Ya I can't find a Bobro less than $225. The GG&G's look sweet. I assume they are the same quality as their optics mounts, which are rock solid!

If anyone has pics of bipods on their SCAR could you post them? I like how Pachinko Pistola's sits forward and out of the way.

I actually took mine off, because it sat too high. I had to hold the back of the stock up to aim when shooting prone.

So now I'm thinking about ordering one of those weaver to swivel stud adapters ($20) and mounting a Harris on it. They're supposed to fold forward so that you get more support and it won't collapse. If you look at pictures of military snipers, they have it folding forward.

I'll post a picture when I get it on there.

GG&G make great bipods, I have one on my LWRC M6A2 16in upper. Don't have one on my scar though since I plan on cutting the barrel down to 10.5in once I get my tax stamp. I will be putting one on the SCAR 17s when I get one.
