    TangoDown Bipod

Who has pics of one attached with the bipods closing to the rear?

Not the front (that is backwards ass)

    Thanks!

I haven't tried the Tango Down bipod yet, but my friend bought one and he says it's the best bipod he's ever used.

I ordered two Harris bipods over the last few weeks. I prefer those, plus they're cheaper.

For a Harris bipod you mount it closing forward so that it doesn't collapse on you when you preload it before firing.

While i'm awaiting my SCAR from Mr. FNBlack I have been thinking about getting one of these TangoDown bipods as well. I want something that sits as far forward as possible and doesn't get in the way. Anyone have this bipod or the Vltor bipod setup on a SCAR that could post pics? Thanks!

One member did go this way on his SCAR, when they were first introduced. Not sure whether or on he deleted the pic. My first impression with the TD unit on the SCAR was, BIG! It makes the rifle look small in comparison.

ahhh ya I want something pretty compact that sits forward. Any suggestions? I know the Vltor set up would be mounted on the side rails, then rotated forward out of the way... but i wonder how practical that setup is?

Keep it cheap (economical price) simple and functional. Harris. It may not match the rest of the gun, (unless the SCAR is black) and look real purdy, but they work and don't cost much. The bonus is, they're compact.

I like them because of these features, and yes, I own several.

There's a small adapter that is available.

If you want cheap and that get out of the way, try a grip-pod.
May God grant us the wisdom to discover the right, the will to choose it, and the strength to make it endure.
