Here's a few pics of my new SCAR in its most recent configuration. I took it to the range on Monday and it functioned flawlessly. The SCAR definitely has a distinctly different recoil impulse than an AR-15 which is a little difficult to get used to. It kinda reminds me of my Daewoo or even an AK74. This rig is definitely a keeper and I cant wait for the F1 to clear.

They do not drop free however one of my bro's has had luck with the newer revision "m" p-mags. I hear it is hit and miss.

Does your Eotech get in the way of the charging handle? Which model Eotech is that?

That's the 553. I've got the same on mine (sometimes) and the charging handle issue really depends on how you grab it. If you're arm over rails it might be and issue. If you come from underneath it will be less of an issue. And if you back hand it shouldn't be an issue at all. Keep in mind also this depends on how far forward you've got the optic mounted. Wearing gloves too will help a lot by preventing your hands getting mangled by any sharp corners.

What are you using for the front sling attachment? Does the sling attachment at the butt stock place undue stress on the stock? I'm trying to figure out the best approach for placing a sling on the SCAR, and do not want to use the HK type of attachment because of the metal on metal contact and the finish wear that it causes. Thanks in advance for your assistance.
