Where did you run the tape switch for the Surefire?

Just above the 3 o'clock rail panel; the edge of the panel jams it in pretty good and the adhesive tape is on the receiver. The SR07 switch would prolly work better and I may have to give it a go.

    Cheers

How do you like that Elcan? They sure look sexy but I have hear so many mixed reviews that i'm hesitant to purchase one, especially at $1800. any thoughts? are you satisfied with it, or anyone else with theirs?

The Elcan is the cat's meow. I haven't heard one complaint about them, except for the price.

The first generation ones had issues, but the 2nd gen ones fixed them (like, the 2nd gen ones lever has to be pushed down then over, 1st gen ones didn't and would occasionally have the lever throw itself part-way making the optic ineffective).

Now this is the first SCAR that I actually like. I have never been a fan but this rifle has it going on.

I almost bought a Elcan but went with MARS reflex instead on my FN..Running the Acogs on my Colts..

buddyhoohaw- is that the Blue Force rail mounted sling loop you have on the front? How does the 4.125" TD SCAR panel lock up with it on? Is there enough room for it?
