Buddyhooha,
Nice stick! Did you modify the MIAD grip or the grip tang? Can you snap a photo of the top of the MIAD where you modified if so?
Thanks
So firemen can have heroes.
Grip tang of receiver was modified as well as the medium size backstrap.Originally Posted by DOE

Nice set up! How do you like the Spector? I never have seen one up close.

I have always been fascinated by the concept of the Spectre however due to price and negative publicity have always stayed away from them. After seeing pics on this and other sites of SCARs with the Spectre DR I decided that I had to try one. I also contacted a few people on this site that own them and the overall concensus was that the Gen IIs are great. I have yet to shoot mine and hope to sometime next week however initial impressions include the optic appears very rugged with great clarity and wide field of view. The red dot is very bright like an Aimpoint and the cross hair reticle is very similar to the TAO1 4x ACOG. The optic is heavy however it is actually 5 grams lighter than my NF 1-4x24 in LT104 mount. I did notice that the rail area immediately in front of the optic causes minor distortion on the 1x setting however it is quite easy to ignore; kinda like when the FSB on an AR obscures the field of view on a powered optic. I will report back after I get some trigger time.Originally Posted by jasestrong

nice setup man!
That Elcan Spectre looks badass. I remember reading about those in a magazine a couple of years ago. I've never actually got to play with one though. Looks sweet!![]()
Nice setup. Why the downgraded flash hider though? After all that I wouldn't have thought you would skimp on and A2 instead of a Vortex or Blackout.
I have always been a fan of the A2 flash hider and selling the PWS comp paid for half of my tax stamp. At any rate I have an AAC black out on stand by for after the F1 clears and I chop the barrel.Originally Posted by _47_
