I can't believe how loud it was (and how minimal the recoil was for a gun over .300!)
I think I'm going to head down to the indoor range today and blast some paper at close range.

Well, I wised up and wore some ear plugs out at the range today.
Man, I just can't get over how awesome the SCAR shoots. My buddy had his .30-06 bolt rifle with him, and the difference in recoil between that and the SCAR is just nutty. The SCAR is like shooting an air gun compared to the .30-06.
I put about 40-50 rounds down range between 100 and 200 yards with the ACOG and it handled them very well. A little practice and I just might be shooting some nice, tight groups like the rest of you snipers on here! :PThe Eyes of Texas Are Upon You!

Its that thing on the end of the barrel. Its louder than all hell breaking lose. My SR-25 has just a plane barrel and is way quieter. You wont get a thought of I wish I never bought this rifle. It is "smooooth"
Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!
