Santa Claus just came to town (with a 17S)

The waiting is over! I finally was able to get my hands on my SCAR 17 tonight after waiting a couple of weeks for "Santa" to deliver it! Here are a few before and after pics.

Accessories include:
Magpul AFG1, Tango Down rail covers (various sizes), Surefire G2X Pro with LaRue LT606-1 QD Mount, and Trijicon ACOG TA-11E-G 3.5x .308 BDC with Dr Optic red dot. (Shout out to 15ICAM for the killer deal on the optic!).

I had the Grip Pod on the gun at first, but did not like the feel of it as much as the Magpul AFG1 - so I went with the AFG1 for now. I think I'll keep the Grip Pod for a while, though.

Congrats on the new addition to the family! You already have a sweet setup!! So how do you like the ACOG? I have the grip pods on both my .223's, have the afg on my Ruger SR22. I like having the bipod available when needed.

I'm in process of SBR'ing my SCAR 16s and multicam dipping it with BARRY ARMS in Albuquerque. Should be all done in 2 months, then I'll post pics.

I love the ACOG so far - but haven't even taken it outside! The field of view is awesome with it, and it looks bad-A too, of course!
