I just picked up my new SLP (22 inch, 8 + 1) and I want to add two rounds to the capacity, 10 + 1 that is. I looked at the Norcic Components website but it seems unclear on which length I need. Does anyone know what I need to get? Any other options out there? I'm not a shotgun guy but had to upgrade for three gun matches. Thanks
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.

I do not have an SLP, but from the looks of Nordic site and from what I know of the SLP, you would probably need the +7 tube. Measure the part of the tube you'd take off and add approximately 5.5 inches (end of the forearm to the end of the barrel, also, this is about the space you would need to 2 extra 2 3/4" shells)

You do realize there is a magazine tube shroud as well as a magazine tube? How do you intended on extending both? I looked on the Nordic web site....didn't see anything for the SLP.

If you currently have an SLP with 8+1, you have the Mk1 model. I do not see the FNH SLP Mk1 model listed. The SLP and SLP Mk1 are rather different in the magazine tube department.

The only difference is tube length. The magazine tube on the SLP and SLP Mark I are both one piece, one is just longer than the other. It uses a sleeve and a magazine cap. Buy the +2 for the SX2/Gold series and viola you have a 10+1 setup. Just replace the mag cap, spring, spring retainer and mag cap retainer. This will eliminate the magazine cap retainer, the small 3 finger device in the end of the magazine, so you will need to find a way to make sure the new extension stays tight.
Thanks to everyone. I got a Nordic +2 kit. Simply remove the stock tube nut and screw on the Nordic assembly. The Nordic stuff looks great and matches the shotgun finish perfectly. The kit came with a longer spring but so far the stock spring works perfectly. Nordic was out of the +2 kit (naturally) but thanks to Element Arms in Becker Minnesota for great service, they had the parts to me in S.E. Tennessee in three days. The Nordic barrel/tube clamp will not work on the SLP as the mag tube shroud diameter is too large, but I think a little time on the mill will fix that, but in any case the assembly is sturdy enough that I think it isn't necessary.
Trying to picture this as this is just what I'm looking for. Anyway of posting a picture of this? If I understand this correctly, the Nordic extension screws on the mag tube itself. My question is the SLP has a mag tube shroud the length of the tube and a screw on cap to hold it, does the Nordic stuff come with a longer shroud or if not how is the stock mag shroud used?
