After years of people bugging them for one, they finally did it.

I'm pretty excited over this myself. It may increase the trigger reach a tad, and hope it gets that grit out of the trigger. I've got my trigger grit mostly gone right now. It's funny - if I let the slide go forward slowly, the take up is a little gritty. If the slide rides home at full speed it feels like butter. And since when I'm shooting it's slamming home, it's a pretty good trigger right now. But yeah, I'll probably be in the top 10 customers to give the Apex a try lol. I've never heard a bad review on an Apex.

I love the flat face kit (with sear) I put in my M&P. The sear could use work on the FNS but I think they've said there's not a lot of interest in making a better one (it is a stamped piece of metal after all). Maybe the 509 will change that.

Yes, as I thought about it, I was thinking it might just be the trigger itself - like the Apex for the Sig P320. It seems the trick to getting rid of the grit is just polishing. I haven't ever shot a flat faced trigger, but think I'd like it. Either way I'm giving it a try. I've got my trigger pretty good as is, but the Apex is an affordable venture.
