Hey everyone,
Is the Bushnell elite 3200 tactical 5-15 mil-dot solid enough to hold up on the FNAR?
What does everyone use?

Certainly hope so-------have one on mine.................500 rds and doing fine!!!!
I have a USS XOTIC (now defunct company) 5.56x16x56. However, I cannot seem to get the rings to line up (using Wheeler scope mounting kit on Leupold QR Rings). Shot groups all over the place. well, 3inch groups.
But then I put my IOR 4x24 CQB scope on it, and MOA no worries.
I also have a Millett 1x4x24 scope as well. It can do MOA as well.
Both of the 24 scopes were shot at 100yrds handloads.
I have the Bushnell Elite 3200 Tactical 5-15 mil-dot scope on mine, too. Mounted in Leupold QRW rings, it shoots MOA and under all day long.
I get the best groups with Federal GMM 168 gr. and Hornady TAP FPD 168 gr..

Good to hear! I have this scope mounted with Leupold PRW rings!Originally Posted by Dudeman
You know, I bought the Bushnell to get me by until I could afford a "real" scope, such as a Leupold Mark 4 LR/T.
After I got it mounted and zeroed however, I saw no need to change a thing.
Good luck with your rifle.

Funny, that is exactly what I thought and did. Although, I wasn't going to get a Mark 4LR/T, I was going to get a nightforce or a Leupold VX-3.Originally Posted by Dudeman
My primary use for my weapon is deer and hog hunting. I topped my black beauty with a 2.5x10, mill-dot, illuminated reticle. Just what I needed for 100 to 500 yd shots in early morning and late evening when the critters are active.
If I'd Shot You When I Wanted....I'd Be Out By Now!!
I'm mounting an SWFA SS 3-9x42 mil-quad reticule. The SWFA team has been able to hit clays at 1200 yds. More scope than I need. A local guy says his FNAR is superb out to 800 yds, so it looks like this scope will be a nice match. Reviews suggest it has excellent low light capability. The only negative is that it is not an illuminated reticule. It also appears that it can't be touched for the $600 price tag until you get up and over $1k. This is not my personal experience talking, just a lot of research, and coming to my own conclusions. So take it with a grain of salt.
I have a Premier 3-15 Heritage on my FNAR. Yes I know they are pricey but being a Premier dealer eases the pain.
