    FTE with my FNAR

I am new to the FNAR. I picked up a 20" heavy in a trade, The rifle is very accurate but I am having feed issues. The issue is the new round is being forced into the chamber before the empty casing is completley extracted.

Is this a gas adjustment issue? And what is the procedure for adjusting it? I only have one Mag but have ordered more.

I have tried South African, M118LR and PMC all with the same results.

Pull the forend off, at the gas block on the side you will see a silver screw with a flat head slot. Turn it out a 1/4 turn at a time till you get it where you want it. Bullet weight makes a big difference too, so if you are bouncing around with different weights you will have to adjust the block often.

I was having similar issues with my FNAR. Someone on this forum recommended a small adjustment of the gas screw. I adjusted it 1/4 turn and I have to date gone over 750 rounds without any type of failure.
