I have an FNAR Light 20 inch . I want to put a muzzle break on it. Has anyone done this yet? Any recommendations?
Take a look at Primary Weapon Systems PRC brake. I have personally have done at least a half a dozen of these on FNARs and they look pretty good.

The real trick is going to be getting the barrel threaded... For that, call Mark at Short Action Customs. He's not cheap, but the work is done right. Last time I was there he had two FNAR's in the safe waiting for the brakes to come in.

Thanks for the info and that is awesome
Is that 5/8x24 rh thread on the 20 inch light version
Mark at Short Action Customs does really good work. He is located in Ohio. Since I live about an hour away I decided to contact him and drop my fnar off to do a trigger job. I left for a couple of hours to get a bite to eat and came back to pick it up. I was very pleased with the work he did. Now I can shoot a 3 shot group at 100 yards and keep it inside a dime! (not all the time though). That's me and not the rifle. I've also thought about getting a muzzle break on my fnar because of muzzle flash and it looks way cool! Mark explained to me why threading the barrel on an fnar is more expensive than other rifles because of the time involved and he had to make a custom jig in order to be able to accomplish this. I would definitely recommend him and encourage you to check out his web site and also look at some of the other threads in here regarding trigger jobs and muzzle breaks since Mark is mentionted by other folks and there are more pictures. Since doing a trigger job voids the factory warranty, I thought long and hard about doing this but other people on this site were happy with his work and he was very confident in his abilities when we spoke on the phone. Good luck with your decision.
To be honest, I'm not really certain the difference in barrel diameter between the heavy and light versions...Is that 5/8x24 rh thread on the 20 inch light version
...but as a general rule, 5/8-24 RH is the most common for 30 cal. rifles.
Here is another picture.
The front rifle has a Thunder Beast break/ suppressor mount.
The middle rifle has the PWS PRC.
The back rifle is disassembled and about to be set up for threading (it also got a PRC).
