New model, FNAR Competition, from 2012 Shot Show

I found this photo on Snipers Hide. This model has an adjustable cheekpiece, and an apparent heavy barrel. These were displayed at the 2012 Shot Show.

I kind of like the look. And look, you can put BUIS on it now!

Well I like it. I wish there was a more vertical pistol grip, something like a McMillan A3. The laminated wood is strong enough for many different shapes. Does anyone know what the barrel is like? Is it the same as the FNAR-H?

Does FNAR sound as "stupid" to me as it does it to you? I mean. First FNAR and now FNAC. Seems they could use some ideas. What next. FNOC FNEC FNIC and why not the FNUC. Rant over. To respect FN we should rebaptise the FNFORUM to the FNORUM.

Nope, I don't think FNAR sounds stupid. Looking in my gun safe, I see guns that go by XD45c, an XD9sc....and the combinations of letters and numbers continues on. In fact, the FNAR is a lot easier than saying Savage 10FPC HS-Precision. It is what it is....no reason to get wrapped around the axle over it.
