FNH USA Shooting Team member scores a
National Title at the 2009 USPSA Multi Gun Nationals

(McLean, Va.) November 24, 2009. Tasha Hanish from the FNH USA Shooting Team took home a National Title in the heavily contested Tactical Optics Division at the USPSA Multi Gun Nationals, held in Las Vegas October 22-25, 2009. Tasha is the only woman shooter on FNH USA shooting team, and one of the few women shooting the demanding 3-Gun series. Tasha -- a member of the team since mid-2009 -- was ecstatic.

Hanish said, “This is my first national title, and I am stoked to have it a tactical multi gun win. With the support of FNH USA, Leupold, Surefire, STI, Safariland and other sponsors, I was able to put most of my attention into the multigun events this year. . . My favorite stages were stages one and two – long range rifle. In stage two, I had to rely on my ability to reload a rifle while running and changing my zero on my scope to make target acquisition faster. Honestly, both stages boosted my confidence immensely, and I now know what I need to work on to improve.”

Hanish plans to participate in 10-15 matches over the next year or so, “My goal is to repeat my titles and national win and to continue improving my performance with the guns I am regularly shooting,” she adds. The FN guns Tasha shoots with are the FN SCAR 16S rifle and the FN SLP shotgun.
