FNH USA offers a new affordable PS90 with improved sighting

FNH USA offers a new affordable PS 90 with improved sighting options – the PS 90 Standard

(McLean, Va.) March 23, 2010. FNH USA has introduced an open-sighted version of the PS 90 -- the PS 90 Standard in black and OD green finishes.

“We designed a unique top rail to increase the flexibility of the bullpup carbine. The PS 90 Standard has a new 1913 rail with integrated iron sights,” said Ken Pfau, Vice President for Commercial and Law Enforcement Sales at FNH USA. “This was a way to give more flexibility in sight options and makes the PS 90 more affordable to shooters without sacrificing quality.”

The MSRP for the PS 90 Standard is $1695 -- a $500 price savings from the USG and TR configurations. It is available now at FNH USA stocking dealers. For more information, visit www.fnhusa.com.

How long did it take to get your form 1 approved?

It's still in the process going on 6 weeks right about now. So I figure that means I have at least 4 more weeks...hopefully sooner

Saying it was being SBR'd I was thinking it was already approved.

The irons are inside of the rail, it is a rear peep sight and then at the front of the rail there is an adjustable sight. It is all inside of the rail.

It is a crude idea at best, but it beats not having any iron sights at all.

To be honest, with such a small distance between the front and rear sight I don't much see the point. It's going to have the sight radius of a snubby revolver. Given that most snubbys use a blade in a channel I tend to think that perhaps a lone front bead or a hooded tru glow style fiber bead a la shotgun might even have been more useful.

The irons are for when you are dual wielding P90s.
