I can't wait for mine either. I would also say this clears up the waters about the barrels also, sounds like we are getting the same barrels as the military.

Where did you find a price? I can't find anything about price. Seems a little steep, even for FN. For that price you can start getting into the NFA stuff. I've seen FNC's and AR-18's for just a little more than that.

I was hoping to pick up a SCAR-H someday, but if that's what they are going to cost I'll just get another DSA FAL and SBR it.

Edit: Looks like its the model 17S that I would be looking at. For some reason I can really see dealers trying to gouge and make as much off of these as possible. Just like when the PS90's first hit the shelves. And to top it off with all these dealers trying to force people into buying out of fear because of the political climate is just wrong. They should put the energy into trying to prevent this from happening rather than capitalizing off of it before anything is even enacted. Its just sad.

The auction price is being driven by supply and demand. If they become truely released and available the price should go down to when it should be. In my opinion under $2500 is a reasonable price for this rifle.

Some dealers are taking advantage of the pent up demand. One awesome rifle, I hope it becomes availbe for those of us who are not rich before they become a banned item.

on gunbroker there 4 people driving the price up 6,000 to 8,000 dollars for god's sakes thies people need to stop binge drinking on thier mediacations ,they,ll wakeup sober and realize what they have bidded the prices will become more reasonable. just relaxe man there aren,t that manny people in thies hardtimes willing to pay over 2,000 dollars for a assalt rifel right now. before november the black rifels just sat on dealers shelfs so there wasent a inventory at suppliers, after nov.4 the home FFL holders ran to the dealers and bought up the rifels and tried to sell them at the next gunshow before christmas for 600 to 800 dallors more the sad thing not too manny people where buying. people will contunion to pawn thier guns because of the hig ammo prices. hey I was willig to pay 3,000.00 for a scar but that would leave me with no money to buy ammo to shot it. man I wanted one bad.
