FNP-9 and FNP-40 handguns now available
in USG model in flat dark earth finish
(McLean, Va.) February 24, 2009. FNH USA announces its popular FNP 9 and FNP 40 handguns in a USG configuration and flat dark earth (FDE) finish are now in inventory.
As a bonus, the purchase of this handgun through April 15, 2009 is also eligible for the FN Shooters Pack promotion which has a retail value of $79. So, the customer has a complete package of the FNP 9 or 40 handgun, Blade-Tech polymer belt holster, double magazine pouch and a training barrel.

These have been out for quite a while. I've had mine since August and it was used. The guy I got it from bought it in April or May '08.

I post it from FN as I get it. Perhaps it was the 40 or the 9 that was not available in USG FDE until recently.

I know. If any it was probably the 40 since mine is the 9. I've only seen one FDE 40 as of yet and I know the 45 in FDE just came out recently.Originally Posted by Thermallator

I'm personally waiting for the FNP 45 In FDE. Old habits are hard to break, I guess. I really like the 45 ACP cartridge. Not to state that the 9 and 40 don't have their place, but for me, it will always be the 45 I reach for first.![]()

FN's FDE is quite attractive in the pictures. I've always been fond of dark earth, so I look forward to seeing one in person.
