    FNH USA donates proceeds from
SCAR raffle to Wounded Warrior Project

(McLean, Va.) June 2, 2009. During its 4th Annual FNH USA Midwest Three-Gun Championships, $20 raffle tickets will be sold for a chance to win an FN SCAR 16S. Proceeds of the raffle will be donated to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Ken Pfau, vice president of law enforcement and commercial sales for FNH USA, said, “We were looking for a way to support the cause of the Wounded Warrior Project and saw an opportunity with the participants and spectators at our Three-Gun to do just that. The SCAR 16S – our highly sought after semi-automatic carbine -- creates excitement wherever we take it, so that is why we decided to raffle one.”

I have a brother thats Airborne Infantry and spent over 2 years in Iraq. It's real nice to see a weapon manufacturer doing something like this. I think they all should whether they make tanks, ammo or guns.

Kershaw's Zero Tolerance branch does this (not sure if it's for the same organization, but it is for wounded soldiers). They give 10 or 15% of the price of every knife sold to the organization.

He is in Germany right now, waiting for his 3rd deployment. He said he most likely will go to Afghanistan next.
