New to this forum and first post. I've had a few jams which is very off putting as I do not keep pistols around that do not run.....perfectly. I recently purchased the Tactical .45 and like it quite a bit. It is relatively accurate (mainly as the sights are hard for me to see) ergos and function are very good. Especially the mags.
In the first 150 rounds it ran perfectly with hard ball (WWB) and HP's (Gold Dot). Today though I had 3 failure to feed 230 gr. hard ball ammo (WWB) - out of 100 rounds and 25 rounds Gold Dot. At approx. the 10th round out of two different mags the cartridge hit the feed ramp and "stuck" there. I had to rack the slide, drop the mag, push the cartridge "back" into the mag and go again. I guess my question is "has anyone else had a failure to feed problem with the FN Tactical .45??". Did it cure itself with more rounds? Anyone diagnose the problem?
As an aside I have 2 semi-custom and 1 full custom 1911's and 3 Glock's that have not bobbled a round in collectively more than 10,000 rounds (minimum count). These are my "keeper" pistols. My intention on purchasing the Tactical was to mount the Trijicon RMR as I'm getting older and can no longer see sights the way I used to. However at $600 +$$ I do not wish to put RMR on a pistol that is not 100% or darn near to it. I've had probably 20 or so plastic pistols (Glocks- S&W M&P & HD's- H&K's etc.) all were 100% pistols with factory ammo. I like the FN and hope this is a passing problem. All replys appreciated.

A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
