Already read some good stuff on the FNS on the FNS forum- some good pics too. I will drop some pics of the 9 and 40 here as well. I just got in a few of the 9mm this week and verified that the FNS and the FNX 9 mags are interchangeable. Have not tried it on the range but in the shop I was able to cycle rounds using the FNX mag in the FNS.
We sold our demo FNX 40 the day after going to the range with some of the FN folks and shot the FNS. It is a snappy pistol but has less felt recoil than the FNX. The trigger is crisp.
My only criticism of the pistol is the safety. If there is one to be had, I like the execution on the FNX. IF you have gloves you can slide right off and not disengage with the FNS. The FNX has a slightly larger safety and works fairly well. To be honest- I am not a fan of the safety- and thankfully there will be a model with no manual safety in summer (maybe late spring).
Also out soon (hopefully this summer) will be the compact model. I have not had a chance to shoot it, but I have held one..... and it is nice. The Glock 36 has been on my side for some time, but I will make the change as soon as my first demo model comes in (will post pics here as well).
A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
UPDATE- the FNS 9 and the FNX 9 should not be interchangeable, whereas the FNX 40 and FNS 40 should be the same mag. As I said in the first post, we sold our FNX 40 so I can't give that one a try.
Info came direct from a fairly knowledgeable guy that just read the post and gave me a call.
