I might have been able to swing someting like that if'n I'd known to plan a bit earlier. Where at in MO? I have to drive to Boonville now and then to work.

OK I have failed miserably. I went to the nationals on Saturday. The range is about 2.5 hours away from my house. After arriving, I realized...I forgot my camera . Turns out, there wasn't a lot to take pics of. The range was all dirt, and it had rained for a week prior so it was actually about 6-8 inches of mud. It was pretty nasty. All the shooters didn't seem to mind though (hell they were shooting!) The first person I saw when I got there was Jerry Miculek from Team Smith & Wesson. He was loading his mags for a event he was about to do. I didn't bother him (more of standing in awe). I did see Versus TV network interviewing shooters for airing in July. I'll try to remind ya'll that it'll be on so you can see the mud too. I'm not overdoing the mud comments, it was pretty nasty. In fact when you watch the Versus program on the nationals and you see a funny looking guy wearing cargo shorts, tennis shoes, looking clueless, with mud covered feet and ankels...I'm standing behind him . I did realize one thing...I could shoot alot of the stages there and feel that I could do well. I told my wife about it and she said, "well why don't ya?"....I gently explained to her the cost of the weapons used and supprisingly she doesn't support my dream now. Bad me! Other than that the day was good, hot and muddy. I did feel bad after I left, I mean watching others shoot cool guns and not getting to shoot too is like watching others have sex without..well you know....its no fun. Anyway sorry again for not taking pics.

That's all right. Sounds like it was a good (and maybe a little frustrating) time
