Motorcycle lingo for expensive, unnecessary but highly cool shit to bolt onto your bike! The KTM has an HID Xenon auxilliary driving light, dash mounbted GPS, grip warmers, heated clothing outlets and gel seat, just to name a few.

ok, I ve got the itch again(not the one cured with a good salve either, SGT
) I have been tossing around a few bikes. I have had 2 Vmaxes over the last two decades, but the new ones don't do it for me. Plus I would like bike with more than a 90 mile radius before looking for a gas station 
I don't need the fastest motorcycle and I hate the laydown/prone position bikes.
My short list,
1.) Harley Vrod night rod special
2.) Ducati Diavel
3.) BMW S1000RR
4.) Yamaha FJR1300

I have ridden all all of those bikes except for the Yamaha. You can't put that BMW 1000RR in the same category as those other bikes. That thing is an out and out sport bike. Its fast as hell but you will be in a very aggressive riding position so I would avoid that for sure. BMW makes a K1300s that is a bit more upright of a riding position and is still faster than necessary... but it doesn't look as cool. The VROD is a pretty decent mix of power and comfort. The Diavel is a down right bad ass looking bike but a little odd at the same time. You need to go ride one for sure. Ducati and BMW dealers will always let you test ride bikes (unlike the Honda, Kawi, etc. places). I bet you can get a nice VROD for a decent price in this economy. Originally Posted by MP_OHIO
