    Speaking of 1911's

I am in the process of aquiring this baby. Built by Stuart Nuss it is an officer's/commander combo with the Caspian damascus slide. I have to wait a couple of weeks for the FTF sale, and I am already counting the minutes

The look of the ported barrel reminds me of a custom hot rod. I have no ideal the value of this, does anybody have an estimate? I suspect I overpaid, but I just like it.

No idea on price either, but light that bad boy off at night -- it will look like a dragon snorting fire!!!!!

Value is around $3 to $3.5K if you were to contract a pistolsmith like Mark Krebs to do that type of work today. I see features in the unit which are both costly and time consuming.

To me, it's art in motion.

You see in this world there's two kinds of people my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig?
