trying to decide on a pistol.
I was going to buy the HK 45 but decided not to since only 10round mag.
Then I was going to buy fn fnp 45 tactical but heard fn will be releasing a new 45 this year.
So now im looking at,
$470 - Walther ppq - Grip looks really good.
$850 - Hk p30 - Looks really comfortable, looks alot bigger then the ppq? / theres no safety on the gun? http://tinyurl.com/6pwmw2t
$550 - Fn fnx/ $600 - fns 9mm - Just bought my dad a fnx .40, which i love just not 100% sure if I should get basically the same kind of gun he has or try something different.
looking to get the gun in 9mm or .40 to use as a concealed carry pistol. Was looking at the .45's for a home defense pistol, but ill hold off on the home defense pistol untill I see what the new fnx .45 looks like.
Which gun do you suggest?
One that you can shoot what you aim at...and feels good when you shoot it.
Out of those choices I would get the FNX 9. Honestly though you can't go wrong with the FNP 45

A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.
IMHO the H&K P30 is far the best pistol of that group, especially if it's an LEM variant. The HK P30 is argueably the most ergonomic pistol made and highly customizable with it's interchangable back and side panels. The LEM variant seems a little funny at first but once you are accustomed it's fantastic..........dj

Like Mod, I love HKs. Heres a good article on the P30 pistol-training.com » Blog Archive » P30 Thursday: Week Forty-Two
For a carry gun I have a Springfield XDm .40 compact. It has the 3.8 barrel and a short magazine that holds 11 rounds of .40. It dose also have the long mag that holds 15 rounds.
I do also sometimes carry my Five-seveN.
I had a P99 that I loved so I bought the PPQ. I wasn't a fan of the new slide, but that was just looks. Easy to conceal, but 9mm is not my choice for CC. It fires ball without any malfunctions. I had some issues with hollow points feeding correctly. I forget the ammo I ran through it. The P99 was hands down the better handgun.

The p2000's are excellent. The P-30 has better ergo's with the interchangeable side panels but it's also a bigger pistol. For CCW the P2000sk is the best of the bunch. Here's a pic to give you some size comparisons:
There's a P2000, P2000sk, P-30 compared to standard and compact XD's.
For whatever reason the P2000's seem to control recoil well. My 2000sk is a 40 and shoots well despite it's small size. I had an XD40 compact and didn't care for it and traded it off it was just a bit snarky IMHO.
I like the feel of the P2000's a good bit more than the USP's
For CCW I'd get a P2000sk LEM or maybe a HK45c which is about the same size as a std P2000. For high column shooting a P-30 in 9mm would have the best ergo's and be cheaper to shoot. But what am I thinking??? You won't end up with just 1 H&k!!![]()
