Cycles just fine so long as you run quality ammo, loud as crap without the can. This keeps bulk pack super sonic ammo down to subsonic levels. Still got to drill and tap a hole for the front sight bead and reinstall the rest sight. Thinking of possibly milling the rear for a mini red dot. Not sure though that might make it hard to holster which was the whole point of this build, to make a holsterable suppressed handgun. It really likes cci standard velocity
Made the barrel go as far as possible into suppressor. That way I utilize the oring engagement of the sparrow plus that extra length makes it cycle more reliably
I'm a novice machinist to say the best lol not sure you want me working on your guns. The guy I contacted about doing this wanted $120 plus shipping back to me. I figured what the heck let me try it myself. I like to play around on the milling machine and lathe and pretend I know what I'm doing lol
That does look awesome SLD, I thought Ruger made these back in the day IIRC for the CIA. Your chop line is very similar to one's I've see, I'd say your Machinist skills are better than you're willing to admit. :?
LoL...I had the same work done. I wanted a gun modeled after the gins used the the Sylvester Stallone/Antonio Banderas movie, "Assassins." Works great will all ammo, subsonic, supersonic whether it is unsuppressed or suppressed.
I put Wilson Combat grip panels on a Ruger, big fo Paux, I know!
Yeah I'm not to crazy about them either but this is really cool set up. I'm going to check accuracy this weekend but what I'm going to use it for I'm sure it's fine
Nice work sldcountry... been thinking about a similar project using a Buck Mark! :?
