Soap will not remove the lacquer. Most people already have soap and access to warm water. And soapy water is really only ever harmful if you splash it in your eyes. If you already have it (not expensive either), then you do not have to go buy quantities of some other cleaner.

I think that using the soap and warm water is a pretty good option. I would suggest putting a hundred or so casings in some kind of sealable plastic container with the soap and warm water and shake it around a bit.

    Then rinse and dry.

They come out looking pretty damn good.
    Also a good method.

I do always deprime before I clean my brass though. Of course, all my other brass is cleaned using SS pins and a rock tumbler. Like that shiny new look, inside and out. The 5.7 brass is a different story though.

A pure democracy operates by direct majority vote of the people. When an issue is to be decided, the entire population votes on it; the majority wins and rules. A republic differs in that the general population elects representatives who then pass laws to govern the nation.

Quick question for those of you that reload and purchase additional once fired brass....do you prefer it cleaned already or rather do it yourself?

I rather clean it myself. With the exception of the FiveseveN brass, I always deprime then clean using a wet method with SS pins. Brass comes out looking brand spanking new and the primer pockets are clean. I like it this way because it is easier for me to pick the potential problem brass out and put it in the recycle bin.
