I have been considering trying some. I know 2 members of the other forum have dabbled in subsonics and posted their data. I think autocomp was one of the powders used for them.

Subsonic 5,7 almost sounds like an oxymoron. Aren't most of it's terminal ballistics based on velocity?

Same projectile as the FN subsonic rounds, 55gr Sierra Game King at about 1073fps. Most any 55gr projectile will do but the velocity is going to be based on other factors, such as temp, altitude and platform.

I've been using 55gn V-Max flat bottoms with 3.0gn of Silhouette, and 52gn A-Max with 2.8gn.- CCI 400 primers. (use at own risk)
Also, Check for keyholes before you put a suppressor on it.
I have two barrels, both 1 in 9 twist, but one of the barrels does not stabilize the sub sonics well so no suppressor of it.

dont care about terminal ballistics I just want 1050 fps or less so i can pop cans and target in my bad yard.
The neigbors dont mind me shooting but they like it when I use my suppressors.

I plan is to start reloading 5.7 SS and .233 SS and of coarse .45acp which is ss

I also like the Silhouette. Tried the True Blue as well and found that either one works well. Do you use a filler?
