Finally a great load!!!

Took my pistol to the range this weekend.

6 grains of Blue dot and 40 grain ballistic tips.

my Oehler 35P read the muzzle velocity right at 1700 fps with a very small standard of deviation. Accuracy was very very good and not one single problem feeding ejecting etc.

This will be my practice round from now one. CCW will be confined to the ss197 factory.

That's the same load I use and it duplicates the performance of the ss197's pretty well. 6 grains of HS-6 works about the same.
