Buyer Beware!!! Secret City Weaponeers Holster

Their products came highly recommended on another forum and I contacted Tony via e-mail while I was working overseas, after speaking with Tony I placed my order and paid the $123.00 through PayPal. That was on June 26th and after a month I contacted Tony and he said he was making my holster and it would be sent out ASAP.

I have sent at least two e-mails/phone calls a month since then and have received no response. I understand that he has a family member with health issues, I feel for his plight but to put it bluntly...I could careless at this point! On another forum there is a 24 page thread with many people in the same boat as myself.

So today I flooded his web-site with e-mails demanding the products ordered or a refund. Even if I do receive the holster or a refund I will never recommend Secret City Weaponeers based on their piss poor business practices that border on fraud.

So a heads up to all you folks on fnforum, if you want a holster look else where!
    HAPPY PLANET thanked this.

I would file a claim with Paypal stating the product was never recieved and that he is not responding to any type of communication. They should then pull funds from his account and credit it back to you.
Nothing good can ever come from staying with normal people.

Did you use your credit card to pay through paypal? I think your cc is the only way to get the money back after so long. Good luck getting your money back.

Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!

I paid through PayPal and there is a 45 day cut off to dispute a purchase so they will not pull the funds and given the medical bills from his family member I am sure that money is gone and spent.

    UPDATE

I received an e-mail from him last night with a lengthy apology and promise to put my holster at the top of the list (only took 7 months to get a response).

I told him in my original e-mail that if I did not receive a response ASAP that I was going to "contact my local law enforcement agency and file a police report for fraud, forward that report to the L.E. Agency in your area, and then contact the Better Business Bureau in you area!"

I read on other forums that Tony is a good dude and that he was over whelmed by the response to his product, family medical emergencies, etc, etc. But come on man, if you are that backed up send out a e-mails/phone calls explaining there will be a delay or tell folks up front there is a delay.

Hell, I have ordered and waited 3 or 4 months for holsters from custom shops in the past and they tell me the deal up front. I just ordered a pack from Mystery Ranch in December, they told me 3 to 4 weeks delivery and they would not charge my card until it it was made and sent.

Regardless of how well the product is or if he changes his ways I will still not purchase or recommend Secret City Weaponeers products. Burn me once and your done son!

    UPDATE:

O.k., the following the day he answers my email and gives me another lengthy excuse and says he will get it out ASAP. Fast Forward 20 days later and no holster ,so I email him on 1 February and says it will ship on the 8th of February "at the latest"!

A week later with no shipping notification and no word about my order, another email sent, I am so pissed off right now, I gave him till COB tomorrow to make this right. If not I will follow through with my original plan and go out of my way to make it known that this guy is a complete fucking ass clown!

That sucks. I thought the nearly 5 month wait from Raven Concealment was bad, but my CC wasn't charged until about 2 weeks before I got the holster...

I have bought custom holsters and gear from companies that I waited the same amount of time for, but I was told up front and there was an open line of communication between myself and the company.

If it was just me I would not be as pissed, but there is 25+ page forum on M4Carbine with folks having the same issue as me, and I am tired of having smoke blown up my ass. I should have went with my gut instinct to begin with a Raven...

    What gun is it for?

A local guy that I've shot with makes holsters very similar to Raven without the wait. The only quality difference is the edge of the holster as he hasn't been able to get the edge as smooth as Raven does. I've let him borrow my FNP to make a couple holster's and they turned out nice.

This how any reputable company should operate, The company I worked for would only charge the card the day the order was packed and shipped that day or the next shipping day.
