Belly Band CCW Holster???

Gents/ Ladies,

I am interested in acquiring a belly band type holster for CC. It would be for a Five-seveN and/or a FNP .45 Tactical.

Do you guys have any thoughts, input, suggestions, or brands/ models to look into?

Yea(s) or nay(s)?

The ideal model would carry either of the two ^^, and possibly a smaller back-up, or have an area for extra mags.

I had one for a Sig P239 when I lived in SE VA. I wore it for all of three days. Hot, humid summer + belly band = insane discomfort. In a cooler climate it might not have been too bad though.

I have one that I don't use very often with a glock 26. I sewed in a piece of suede behind the gun area to make it more comfortable. After getting a good inside the waistband holster the belly band is ehh.

Drop the belly band and get a good In the waistband holster, The belly band will not protect against sweat is uncomfortable in the summer un-accessable under all the layers of clothing in the winter and you have to pull your shirt up quite high to get access to the firearm.

A proper iwb holster is going to be far more comfortable than 99% of the belly bands that you will find. The belly band though does have the advantage of being less material thereby adding less bulk around your pistol which aids in concealability with your shirt tucked in. I have tried/used about three different belly rigs and the best one that I've found is made by galco.
