Dissapointment WIth Floorplate From MPF Tech

I ordered the "FN PS90/P90 30 to 50 Magazine Conversion Floor Plate"
from MPF Technology, a sponser of this site"

Original price $14.95, sale price $7.95
Now I understand all businesses need to make a profit, but at $7.95 this was very overpriced!

It's a piece of plastic with a bolt in it. The plastic is weak and flimsy. It looks like my 10 year old daughter cut the piece of plastic. Jagged edges and not cut straight

If was was made a little better it would warrant an $8 price, as is - I wouldn't pay more then about $3

Just wanted to warn others to stay away from this item - especially when they raise the price back to $15

It would have taken me about 2 mins to make my own

Have you taken a look at the FN manufactured floorplate of their 50 round magazine? In my opinion, it's flimsier than mine. My floor plate functions fully as advertised.

I have offered a full refund of your money upon return of the product.
That's the best deal I can offer.

BTW, with over 200 sold, your the very first one to complain.

time it would take to get the plastic, bolt cut and drill assemble---quite reasonable-- Tug :P

I have one from a different maker, so I can't comment on that - But I do think that this probably could have been handled better with an e-mail to the company first, before making a public comment.

MPF is the moderator here and I for one applaude him for not deleting this thread. It really shows that he's commited to providing first rate products and service and is willing to take criticism (founded or not) and not shy away or hide from an unsatisfied customer.

His policy is a full refund. Now, how can you go wrong?

Just wanted to follow up and let members know that i did receive a refund with out a problem. I would do businesss again with MPF. Many of their products look like high quality items. With the magazine plate i was just looking for somthing slightly more OEM looking.
