Does anyone know which one they use, and where / if they're available? I really like the look of it, especially on the SCAR 16, compared to the PWS brake.
I managed to grab two of them a while back for my 17s. They only come into the US on select-fire SCARS. You need to find a class III dealer that has one and is willing to swap it out and sell it to you. They index off the muzzle with no crush washer or jam nut. A class III dealer that I know who is also one of the better-connected B&T dealers spoke with two different individuals at B&T and they indicated that they do not manufacture this flash hider. We had hoped to grab a few. Berthlamenacetarine, if you have solid info contrary to what the two B&T guys said, please PM me and I will have the dealer push harder to see if we can grab some. FNHUSA CS is oblivious to the fact that the hider exists. They instantly think PWS comp or AAC Miter. At one point early on, I had good old Bob Ailes (fantastic guy) actually go to the FN-Herstal web site (not FNHUSA) while we were on the phone to see the many photos of the SCARS there with this hider. He was surprised. He asked that I send him a few close up photos, which I did. I miss Bob, BTW.
Caution, to be taken with "tweezers"
the little information I have is this:
in Europe there is a small batch of SCAR H and L (a 100) which came on the market, equipped with a B&T flash hider, a M4S with B&T mount and a B&T grip with bipod, all black and all in semi. .. it come from Belgium (no FNH marking ) "a priori" it would set a "LE" sale, that B&T could lead to ...
Sarge, yours looks like the even rarer current enhanced MK17 flash hider. Nice!
Sorry, Darkest2000, I do not have any more European versions. BTW, the European SCAR flash hider pictured in my post above is indeed a SCAR 17 version (7.62).
