Here is my new beauty!
I took these pictures before i take her to the range tomorrow so that i can compare before and after. it will be interesting to see.
I did the first cleaning after taking the pictures.
I plan on trying out American Eagle 230 gr fmj as well as Blazer 230 gr fmj Aluminum casing.
I also want to test TulAmmo but haven't been able to find any locally.
Ideally i would like to run 100 rounds of the Blazer ammo and strip her down to take pics.
and repeat with other brands for comparison.
Not sure how disciplined i will be as it will be my first date with her.....

FNX 45 Tac first range report with lots of pics

Alright,
Went to the range today for the first time with this beast. WOW! This thing is awesome!!
Gun was cleaned with Otis cleaner and lubed with Mpro 7. (maybe too much oil) see pics.

Indoor range time: 1hr
Rounds fired: 120
Ammo: Blazer 230gr fmj aluminum casing, 100 rounds
American Eagle 230gr fmj: 20 rounds
FTE: Zero
FTL: One. After shooting the first 100 rounds of the blazer rounds, i loaded the mag with 10 rounds of American Eagle 230 gr fmj. I think it was the 3rd or 4th round that ftl, was corrected by just pulling the slide back and releasing it for the round to chamber properly.
Magazine: I only used one magazine for my first range test to keep that as a constant. First load was 5 bullets, second load was 10, then 15. no problem for first 100 rounds.
Magazine speed loader: Maglula loader (awesome!)
Gloves used: Mechanix vented (excellent) Tactical > The Original Vent Covert Glove : Mechanix Wear
took me a few loads to get a feel of where to hold, after which the grouping was acceptable to me.
Trigger felt very nice compared to other guns i've shot.
I also used the range time to zero in the streamlight trl2 laser, very cool.:icon_thumbup:

Here are some pics after the range, hope this helps someone.
Let me know if you have any questions guys, or point out anything wrong u see (i'm a noob)

Add a Trijicon sight to it and you will be even more blow away.

My FDE FNP-45 tactical with that sight is amazing. 1/2" groups at 30 feet. Cannot wait till My Osprey gets here for it.

Still not sure if it is the gun, sight, or a combination that is so dang accurate......

Range time: 1hr
FTE: Zero
FTL: Zero
Ammo: 150 rounds American Eagle and 50 rounds of winchester white box(test). Tested the winchester in all magazines with no issues.
Used all three of the magazines today, all loaded with 15 rounds, no issues.

To end the session, i loaded all three magazines with 15 rounds each and tested a rapid fire run with the 3 full mags consecutively while using the laser on the trl2 to acquire the target.
That was too much fun! the gun performed flawlessly.8)
