Great gun for night patrol and hunting predators here in Texas. Simple but extremely effective 3-9x40 MEOPTA MoePro. Elusive Wildlife 500 HD with quick detach. The Kill Light. Magpul stubby with Magpul grip. Blue force gear sling with loops. This baby shoots dime size groups at 100. No need for new trigger.
The gun on 3 power is almost as fast as my socom 16 with red dot and way more flexible system. Not saying it's better just a great set up without selling a body part.

Never used the 3-9x40 but had one of the K556 ZD scopes and it was a great optic. Great fit and finish, great glass.

Yeah they claim 98.7% light transmission lens surface. All I know is I have a US Optics 1-4 power that cost at least 3x the money and it sits on a custom .223/.556. This glass is clear and the scope holds zero. Meopta has a BDC that works pretty dang good with a 100 yard zero. I wanted magnification to be able to shoot more distance and my gunsmith passed along the tip. He trains and works with law enforcement so I figure he knows more than I do. I don't see me replacing it unless there is a problem. It has a lifetime warranty. It was a solid choice and couldn't be happier. So far I have shot it out to 400 at the range with ease and was going to start backing it up but it started to rain and the range has a lot clay that I didn't feel like dealing with. Lucky for me it's close to the house and is set up with stations all the way to 1,000. So I will be able to test it out over time for distance to see what the limits are for the gun without mods. I like to keep it simple and effective. It's also great for the normal hog hunting close quick shots we have around Texas. I own a national pest control company and get calls to help out the local ranchers that I volunteer some limited free time to help rid hogs and coyotes. That always gives me places to hunt and helps them so it's a win.
