How does an order of protection make him a felon?

It did happen, and it can again! The government completely banned certain rifles and you, yes you could not own them. I am in a state that STILL has that retarded thing in place. I live the reality of oppressive government! For you to say it cant be done is coming from some one that has never seen the real problem. I see most that dont have a problem with the current system as the people that do live in "free" states. Live here where we cant even touch a new 30 round mag, and see if you wouldnt mind more rules and restrictions on what you may have or qualifications to get it. NO MORE! Give them an inch, they WILL take a mile!

The whole surrender your guns to be sold if you are a felon is bull.
I have a friend that is a great guy and father, married for 15 years. She decides she want a divorce. They separate, 2 years later wile picking up the kids, they argue. She goes to the cops want to press charges, local PD tells her to leave ther is nothing wrong with you. She then goes to the NY state troopers, they cant get her to leave so they proceed with whatever bull shit. They serve him some paper the next day, and now hes got some order of protection against him. She was never touched, both kids were there and never saw them even touch. So now he is a felon and has to surrender his firearms. I took them that day of course, they even searched his home looking for them. 6 moths later the order expires and nothing ever happened to her for the perjury. Now as you say all of your rifles would be gone. The rifle your father gave you, that you value as he is dead now. Just because some crazy bitch decided she wanted to screw you. Its not that simple, a blanket rule. It never will be. Remember you are just ONE dumb bitch away from loosing ALL of your rifles and pistols. FOR NO REAL REASON.
Yes I know someone who when through that mess of a divorce. He even was forced to wear an ankle bracelet and everything to prove that he was not harassing her in any way and had PROOF of it. Bam! Got a felony so no guns for him because of his Ex and her lies.

It should be: You commit a crime WITH A GUN you should not be allowed to own one. Other than that you should be clear unless you are EXTREMELY violent or you murder someone. . I'm not 100% sure of the laws but you can get a felony with excessive speeding tickets or something as equally ridiculous? (need proof of my last sentence) Just my on the matter.

Here in NY it makes him have the same status as a felon to restrict him from doing any thing to her. Then once it has expired with nothing happened it gets expunged. some thing like that. When you have done nothing wrong, you are a felon in the eyes of every single LEO. One time he got pulled over for his inspection being expired and they would not let him drive away till the LEO got the ok from base that they figured out what it was against him.

Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!

An order of protection is civil, not criminal so while some of the restrictions are severe trust me it's not the same as being a felon.

You can only speak to the laws of your own state. Every state is different. Some are retarded.
