You see in this world there's two kinds of people my friend. Those with loaded guns, and those who dig. You dig?
Well Im glad I never gave any money to aimpoint, since they are better than me and wont sell it to civilians.Originally Posted by MP_OHIO

Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!

I have two of the Aimpoint PRO's, one on my FS2000, and the other on my Steyr AUG A3. They both work super!
The Patrol Rifle Optic was designed especially for law enforcement. It's an ML-3 comp with a 2 MOA dot instead of the 4 MOA dot. I agree with the restriction only for the fact that it was designed to be a tool for law enforcement, and should be in the hands of the people that rely their lives, and the lives of others on a daily basis.
NOT that is some sinsiter plot to keep it out of the hands of citizens. I'm confident that at some point down the road, the scopes will be made available to everyone. There is a very high demand for this scope by law enforcement and security. Once the demand drops a bit, so will the restrictions.
At SHOT 2012, Aimpoint said we could sell to the public ... no more LEO/Mil restrictions.

Co-worker of mine bought one via a local LEO supply company, its a nice optic, especially for the price.
If AP is still offering them to the public for the same price we could get them at then I say buy one!
$360 + free shipping deal is long gone ... they want $409.99 now.
$400 is the going rate for the PRO's ... + shipping, of course.
