TA648-308 ACOG
What do you guys think about this one? I like the idea of the 6x in a tactical scope with the durability for that use. I also really like the ability to mount my Burris MRD on top for close to 50 yards fast target sighting.

I like to sight my rifles at 200 yards with scope, and 50 with a RDS. So I liked the Elcan idea, but I want two different POI. Close and then far.
Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!

I think it weighs almost 3lbs... Its freaking huge
It was really designed to be a MG optic
I really think the only reason to buy this optic would be to make a L129A1 Clone

Wow So I need to really read the specks page before I open my big mouth.
Yea, your right theres no way a 3lbs. optic is tactical. On the other hand I could use it to work my Biceps.

What gun were you thinking of putting it on. If it is the Scar-17 then I think it would be defeating the purpose that it was designed for ( light weight battle rifle) I love the ACOGs I think they have the clearest glass of any scope I have seen through. I like the TA-11 for eye relief but it is 3.5 x Lot of TA-31 out there to choose from. If you are using it for targets I would suggest you look at the reticle with the cross hairs.
