I have an Aimpoint PRO mounted with QD Larue mount. I decided I would add a Aimpoint 3x with compatible Larue pivot mount since I do not have eagle vision and thought it would be nice addition (fun). Bought from dealer source-it is real.
With the 3x added my group at 50m goes about 2-3" to the right and up. Cannot figure out why? Changed where it is on rail, eye relief, size of the red dot did decrease error but still there. I know it is not a precise scopebut what i can hit at 100m will pretty much be off paper with the 3x. Groups are 1" with fairly rapid fire but up and to the right.
I am missing the obvious?![]()
You need to zero the weapon with the magnifier set in position first. This will fix your issue AND give you a more precise zero on the PRO once you flip the magnifier out of the way.

Will go to range tomorrow and fix. thanks!
As I have heard here before about the magnifiers they change the way you see your POI. So you will need to reset your PRO to get to the same zero.![]()

Of course I am compensating for something.... If I could kill something at 300 meters with my c*ck I would not need a gun!
My EoTech manual stated that adjustments may need to be made once the 3X magnifier is installed. Shouldn't be anything to severe, good luck.
well fixed issue. put the magnifier first as suggested but was still off an inch or so. ( I know a little obsessive). So.... i go to the car take the contacts out and put the glasses on and....there you have it.
So next time I get an optic when I read the direction I will add- add glasses to each step.![]()
